ACHA to the NHL: Congrats to Daniel Walcott

And I thought I had seen it all. 

I remember when the Rangers drafted him and this was briefly talked about. After putting up 13 points in the ACHA, Walcott went to the Q and tore it up. From there he was drafted, and wound up on the Syracuse Crunch where he’s had a pretty decent career. Last night Walcott made his NHL debut where he was introduced to the National League.

The Tampa Bay Lightning's Mathieu Joseph, Gemel Smith and Daniel Walcott became the @NHL's first all-Black starting forward line.

Good for him dropping the mitts. Even though it was a one sided affair, the ACHA can now say we had an NHLer. Love this for us.
