33 goals? Are you kidding me? The Sabres need to do whatever they can to lock up Skinner and here is why: In the past, I don’t know, lets say 10 years— How many players have come in to BUFFALO and put on a performance like this? Its absurd. This is clearly Eichels team but having players like Skinner or Okposo make this team a lot of formidable and a borderline threat. With young defenseman like Dahlin and Ristolainen on the back end with my favorite goalie Carter Hutton in the pipes, the Sabres aren’t all that far from playoff territory. It’d be a huge set back if the Sabres don’t resign Skinner and his 33 goals through 53 games and right now the Sabres need to be thinking about adding pieces, not subtracting them. What a goal, what a year. Jeff Skinner ladies and gentleman.
