The Canadian leg of the schedule continued last night in Calgary. Slavin was absolute nasty last night. He slide for in the crease and used his hockey stick to block an open net goal. Not only that, he passed Aho the puck for the first goal of the game. Unfortunately in the second period, the Flames tied up the game. It seemed as if both teams wanted a win- and rightfully so. Fortunately for the Hurricanes, Aho scores AGAIN in overtime, giving them another 2 points in the standings- leaving the Hurricanes just one point behind the Capitals. Does Brind’Amour keep the lines? I certainly hope so. Why fix something that works? The team is scheduled to play on Saturday against Edmonton, with a back to back against Vancouver on Sunday.
