Almost every team has played at least two games and we still have no idea whose going to make the playoffs and whose going to be dog shit. We do know one thing, many many goals will be scored this season. We’ve seen about a half dozen of shutouts so maybe the goalies will put up numbers too. Hockey is officially back! It’s another season but this year we get that sweet doc on amazon prime. I’m about half way through and it’s so raw I love it! Does Matthew Tkachuk even own a car?
Jeremy Swayman finally gets a contract. Read more about that here. The Arizona Coyotes have yet to lose a game in Utah as the Utah Hockey Club. The New York Rangers raised a banner and I’m still trying to figure out why. If you study the photo above the Florida Panthers are the most recent team to get their paws on Lord Stanley.
The St. Louis Blues started off their season with back to back comeback wins. One of those wins came against Macklin Celebrini and the San Jose Sharks. Macklin Celebrini had two points in his NHL debut and was the fastest number one pick to score a goal since Mario Lemieux. Celebrini finished out the game but was placed on IR after a reaggravated hip injury. I doubt this will impact his race for the calder trophy and we should see him back in the lineup soon.
