Caps fans, are you worried? Up 2-0 coming to home ice, Caps fans we’re VERY confident in their team. I saw non-stop tweets saying sweep this and sweep that. I bet you feel like a fucking idiot.
I totally get why Caps fans we’re pumped. It’s the first time in Ovechkins career that he made it past the second round. This is now the land of the unknown and all signs pointed to a quick series, but that’s what makes the playoffs great. Caps fans haven’t lived in this world and their lack of experience clearly showed. Now this baby is all tied up and this series is about to be a god damn war.
What is the biggest takeaway from all of this? Last night Alex Ovechkin DESTROYED his CCM twig on the crossbar and I thought to myself, “That must suck to have a stick to do that. I’m a Warrior guy now and that would NEVER happen.”
The real reason I wrote this blog was to pump my own tires. Your boy Ked and Co. are now a part of the Warrior VIP program. What does this mean? It’s like when you get accepted to college for the first time, except this time in my life I’m not going to community college, I’m going to Arizona State, I’m going to BU, I’m going wherever the parties at. No more safety schools (or literally any school that would accept me) in Keds life anymore. I made the big time. Warrior hockey has long been a favorite of mine and now I get to tell you guys all about it. Keep your head on a swivel for sweet pictures and videos showcasing Warriors hottest new products of this year.
