The Mighty Ducks Went to a Ducks Game For a Reunion And I am Freaking Out

The Mighty Ducks changed my life, no joke. There’s no other universe where a team can go from District 5, to Junior Goodwill Champions, to Private school but it did not matter and it did not disappoint. We saw Russ Tylers knuckle puck, Luis Mendoza struggle with hitting the brakes, an entire team honor Hans before a big tilt and Emilio Estevez take on Wolf The Dentist Stansson. Up until a few days ago, that’s all these were- memories. But just a couple days ago a few of the players got together, and based off of appearance some of them went the right way and some of them went the wrong way.

Guy Germain

Germain seems like a big weed guy. After graduating private school, Germain found himself in the dab lab and now owns a marijuana dispensary in Northern California. He was engaged to Connie Moreau but things fell through when he couldn’t get himself off of the electric lettuce.

Julie The Cat Gaffney

I mean, Julie aged like fine wine. After Goldberg tried destroying her diet, Gaffney took to crossfit and opened up her own hockey academy in Bangor Maine. Notable stars to have gone through the academy- Jimmy Howard and Scott Darling- have told stories about their glove hand improving drastically throughout the years. Cat lady, absolute rocketship.

Adam Banks

Probably the most talented Duck, Adam Banks attended Alaska Fairbanks and ended up having a decently successful career playing overseas. Banks would’ve been a first round pick but was never able to recover from his wrist injury and was never able to get a grip on life. He now spends his days working at a Dicks Sporting Goods, as a street hockey specialist wearing Vineyard Vines and Brooks Brothers.. cake eater.

Russ Tyler

Russ Tyler ended up having a very successful career in comedy. After private school, Russ joined forces with his good friend Kel and started a fast food joint known for their customer service and orange soda. He appeared on several late night comedy shows, mostly on Saturday nights, and still resides in Los Angeles.

Tommy Duncan

Tommy left the Mighty Ducks back after District 5 but heard there was a reunion and decided to come. After an awkward introduction, the rest of the group welcomed Tommy with open arms. Duncan is a happily married insurance agent with 5 kids, a mini van and a beautiful house in a cul-de-sac. Just kidding- Duncan still resides in the home of his parents basements, collects McDonalds happy meal toys and is learning how to play Tom Sawyer on the bass.

At the end of the day, 23 years later, Ducks fly together.
