Every single year fake rumor accounts come back in full swing and I think it is my duty to help the casual hockey fan out. I’d like to begin by saying that I only trust one person and that guy is the Bob Father Bob McKenzie.
Bob lives for this season, along with free agent frenzy, so he should be the first person you follow. Besides Bob, other reputable hockey community people are:
If you want to add some humor, make sure to give the #PackUrShit legend Mike Commodore a follow. The Spittin Chiclets boys might be a good follow as well since Whit is on the network, Biz has enough promo codes to get a scoop and RA called the Rick Nash thing 85 months before it happened.
The BIGGEST and I mean BIGGEST thing to look for is one of these.
Am I upset we’re not verified? Sure am. Are there people verified who are hardos and know nothing rumor related? Sure are. You have to be careful when believing the blue mark brigade but I can tell you with almost 100% certainty that a person with a blue check mark will be correct more often then someone without one.
How to know if you’re being fucked with:
- Twitter account has less that 15K followers
- Twitter account retweets and pins their own picks that happened to be right three years ago so people think they’re legit
- Twitter account looks like a TSN analyst but no checkmark
Also, if you’re reading this and you’re one of those fake rumor sites, go fuck yourself. Yeah, I get it, it would be so amazing to be in TSNs inner circle. Other than being an NHL player, being an NHL trade #insiderrr would be the best job on Earth. Having said that, it doesn’t give you the right to tell me Panarin is going to the Predators because you want to be the first person to call it. You’re a pathetic hockey fan and even more so, human.
So head on a swivel hockey fans, hockey twitter is about to be mayhem.
