Can you imagine casually walking into your Khabarovsk Tigers locker room and suddenly you see a baby tiger come cruising out of no where. I don’t know what type of laws they have in Russia but I just don’t think this is something you’d see over here in the states. If we did, what would we have? A Penguin in the middle of Pittsburgh, a Panther in the middle of Florida? A Shark swimming in a plastic pool in San Jose or a baby bear in Boston? I think its easy to say the NHL has better hockey than the KHL but we cannot let ourselves get bullied in the team mascot game. It seemed like last year NHL teams went hard with the puppies, which I respect because I mean everyone loves puppies. However, a tiger is one bad mamajamma and maybe its time to up the ante here.
