There is a lot to break down here. First off, Ryan Whitneys caption of what is going on here couldn’t be more funny and couldn’t be more accurate.
Can’t ever live that down. Russia as a society decided that will never ever happen again.
Is this something that is taught regularly in Russia or is this a special circumstance? I ask this because when you think of enforcers in the National league, have you ever once thought of a Russian player?

I don’t think any of those names scream intimidator (other than Konstantinov but because he’d launch you 18 rows into the stands).
While the United States are putting stop signs on the back of their kids jerseys and only permitting them to learn to hit come their bantam years, Russians are teaching the 1s and 2s at what we’ll call the age of 10 (generous?).
I remember years back when Boogard started a fighting camp and people lost their shit about it. Could you imagine if these practices took place in North America? But because this was in Russia we’re allowed to laugh it off and say what a world. WHAT. A. WORLD.
