The Bruins went to Buffalo last night and left Keybank Arena with a little bit more than the 2 points that they were expecting from their victory. Sean Kuraly was placed in the NHL COVID protocol prior to the game and he has since been joined by Jake DeBrusk, David Krecji, Craig Smith and David Pastrnak. Subsequently, the NHL has postponed the Bruins next two games (tomorrow against the Sabres, and Tuesday against the Islanders); and pending test results, the team will hopefully be able to get on the practice ice on Wednesday 3/24 and play the next night back in Boston.
The Tuesday game against the Islanders was supposed to be the first Bruins game that let fans back into this building this season. No word has come down if this latest delay will affect allowing fans in the TD Garden. In order to get your hockey fix: The Northeastern Women’s Hockey team is playing for the NCAA National Championship vs. Wisconsin on ESPNU Saturday at 7:30pm. #HowlinHuskies
With no games to recap, thought I’d share some Bruins highlights. Enjoy.
