Gambling with the Goalie

After spending the long weekend with my Mother-In-Law (shoot me now), I am ready to sit back on the couch, watch some hockey, and degenerately gamble all week.

Now, let’s make some money! Here are my picks for tonight and the next few days. If you guys like them, let me know and I would be happy to share more updates and live betting on Instagram or Twitter.

Picks:

• Tonight:
  • In Raleigh, I think the Canes are overmatched. I am seeing some good deals on the Lightning so I will take the Bolts ML and also put ½ the size wager on the PL
• Wednesday:
  • Depending on the pricing/odds, I like Winnipeg against Montreal. Winnipeg has had a over a week to rest up (Game 4 vs EDM was on May 24th), so I expect them to take it to the Habs who are fresh off of a hard fought 7-game series. We saw it in the Bruins and Av’s game 1, rest is prevailing over rust!
  • Colorado flat out embarrassed Vegas and the Knight’s coaching staff made some poor decisions (why would they start Lehner when Flower has been hot – it is like wiping before you poop, it just doesn’t make any sense). Expect to see Fleury in net and the game to be closer; however, I still think the Av’s win it. They have looked like a true juggernaut this playoffs and Vegas has still been struggling to score.
