Uhhhh, what? How in the world can you trade the Vezina winner, the trophy presented annually “to the goaltender adjudged to be the best at his position” for, let me make sure I read this correctly, nothing?!?!

I know were in a flat cap right now but this is crazy to me. This offseason has been pretty nuts considering who Seattle drafted, the trades and contracts handed out, but I don’t know if anything is as crazy as a Vezina winner being traded for nothing— not even a couple deep dish pizzas. SMH.

UPDATE: MAF Might retire

One thing to watch here: there were rumblings Marc-Andre Fleury might choose to retire if traded from Vegas — for family reasons. Not certain how it will all play out.

Part of the back-and-forth between #VGK and #Blackhawks on return was Chicago's inkling that Marc-Andre Fleury may choose to not report to CHI in the fall. His heart was in Vegas. Fleury plans to discuss his future with his family. @DFOHockey
