The regular season is finally here! Jenkins posted a really great poem to help you get into the hockey spirit. The Blues start their season on the road in Colorado but won’t play until Saturday. With the addition of many new faces a team bonding trip to Vail is a great way to break the ice.
The 23-man roster has been submitted which includes Jake Neighbours and James Neal. James Neal was brought in on a PTO and ended up signing a one-year deal for $750,000. Rookie Jake Neighbours was the 26th overall pick in the 2020 draft so he will be playing a nine-game trial to maintain a spot on the main roster.
In case you missed it: Doug Armstrong has been extended for five more years as general manager, Troy Brouwer will be a scout, and Jim Montgomery will be on the bench instead of the press box like last season.
Lastly, Ked and Brownie break down all 32 teams in the latest episode but don’t be fooled by their predictions. The Blues will make the playoffs, these jabronis have no idea!
