Lucas Raymond has a 4-point night, including 3 goals.. hatty for the rookie, as the Wings return to winning ways Sunday night defeating the Chicago Blackhawks at the United Center 6-3.

The Wings definitely missed Tyler Bertuzzi on Saturday, getting absolutely hammered 6-1 by Montreal in Canada. Yeah.. that wasn’t the case in Chicago on Sunday. Right from the get-go, he established his presence. Bertuzzi with the sonk! take-away, feeds Lucas Raymond who beats Marc-Andre Fleury through the five hole and off we go. Bertuzzi continues his night adding another assist and a goal of his own.. well, more like deflection from his foot, off the foot of a Blackhawk and in.. It made sense when Mickey Redmond explained why it counted, that’s all that really matters.
Hat Trick For Lucas Raymond
As previously mentioned, this kid is a beauty. When he is playing with Dylan Larkin and Tyler Bertuzzi, all they do is put up points. Lucas Raymond continues to impress. His first goal was a great shot from a beautiful setup from Bertuzzi, second goal charging the net tapping in the leftovers from Larkin’s shot, and the third was a solid one-timer from Seider and again Larkin. These rookies…
I’ll just put this here:
Raymond: 3 goals, 1 assist.
Bertuzzi: 1 goal, 2 assists.
Larkin: 3 assists.
Dirty Play/Ref Travesty Of The Night
We can’t have a Wings blog without talking about how horrible the Refs are so here we go.
Cheers to Alex Nedeljkovic getting his first win as a Detroit Red Wing! 32-save night, including this head scratcher if you’re Alex DeBrincat.
Whole team win tonight for the Wings… love to see it.
