The Hurricanes have won both West Coast games thus far. It’s as if the time zone doesn’t phase them. They came out playing their game and didn’t let up. Andersen was back in net, as he should be. He has more than proved he is our go-to and the number one goaltender.
The game went back and forth between the L.A. Kings and the Hurricanes, with the Canes scoring first. Necas unknowingly scored the game winner, as neither team scored in the third period. It’s not to say that either team didn’t try to score again, because they did.
The Hurricanes continue their West Coast road trip on Monday, at unfortunately for us on the East Coast, at 10:30PM against San Jose Sharks.
