New York Rangers Play a Full 60 and Wet Willy The Capitals 4-1

The Playoffs are officially back in New York City and the Rangers have made their presence known. I feel like there are so many things that need to be talked about so we’re just going to start doing it 1 by 1. Cool? Cool.

Creed loves The Rangers

I know it’s 2024 but Creed is officially back. In a world where a 31 song Taylor Swift album can consume the disney adults of the world, it’s nice to know that garage beer bands are climbing their way to the top once again. You know Remps and Schneids were ready to go through a fucking wall after watching something like that. And speaking of Remps and Schneids..

Is it Mullet SZN on Broadway?

I cannot confirm, but I think they boys are having some fun with their hairstyles this playoffs. Kreider and Rempe went short on the sides, Schneider went full on Mullet and Laf is sporting that precious mustache. Lindgren wanted to start from scratch and Trouba looks like he owns 100 acres of wooded land in which he has special bunkers in certain areas. Listen, if you remember, Panarins season started with a shaved head – maybe there is something special in the hair game.

Matt Rempe Has The Juice

Everytime he is on the ice the fans go crazy. Everyntime the Rangers chip a puck in deep, you can hear everyone get ready for impact. The penalty taken in the first – a charge (???) – was as soft as a penalty can get, let alone the first game of the Stanley Cup playoffs. Remps plays a simple game but because of his size and fearlessnees, he is a force. So very happy he got us going.

Panarin Got The Start He Needed

This is the guy who needed a good start to the playoffs and boy did he get it. Playoff Panarin looked exactly like regular season Panarin and this is very good news for the New York Rangers. Also — what a play by Lafreniere there. Goes in, buries the guy, collects puck and dishes it off, we score, he gets mugged, ignores it all and celebrates with the boys. Future captain shit, I’m telling you.

Chris Kreider was Engaged

If Chris Kreider decides to play how Chris Kreider can play hockey, the New York Rangers will be extremely difficult for a team to beat in 7 games. It all starts with Kreider engaged and involved in the tough stuff. Hes a bull of a man and should bully anyone out there. When he starts playing that way and develops that little bit of swagger it’s normally over for those hoes.

One last little tid bit here –

Is that good?

Play that song, boys.
