Hockey Player Has Gear Stolen: STX Hooks Him Up

As you know, I am a beer league all star, or at least pretend to be. I’m super picky on my gear and recently I’ve been looking to switch out some things. One of the main objectives in beer league is to look clean. As much as someone might tell you T-Blades, yellow laces and a tinted visor is cool, it most certainly is not. I play beer league as if it were the show because lets face it, its the closest I’ll get.

I saw a post on reddit a few weeks ago about a guy who had all of his gear stolen. He reached out to STX to tell them his situation, sort of a why not scenario. STX reached back to him and he was pumped that STX was going to hook him up with a twig. Fast forward to today and STX sent him two sticks and made this guys day.

Now, they probably did this in hopes that a site like ours would blog about it but I honestly don’t care. This was such a savvy sweet move for STX to do. I don’t know what I’d do if I had my gear stolen. I play 2-3 times a week and if I wasn’t I would arguably be the most miserable person on the planet.

Again, wicked cool move by STX and they might be the new brand I go with. Having said that, you have to remember I am very broke so any sort of free gear sent this way would be greatly appreciated. I mean who cares about Crosby or Ovechkin when you have kedsauce8 putting up 80+ points a year in the Tri City Hockey League. Stick taps for STX.
