Martin St. Louis Joins Blue Jackets as Special Teams Consultant

Yesterday news came out that I was a little shocked about. Marty St. Louis joined the Columbus Blue Jackets as a Special Teams consultant and left me wondering. Marty has been heavily tied with the Rangers the last couple of years and I just didn’t get why he would leave the tri state area for Columbus. Oh wait, do you hear that?

Yup, thats Torts music. Apparently they’re still ironing out the details of what this role means and what is expected but any team that has a coach who has a 17 year career tallying 391 goals, 642 assists, 6 all star appearances, a Hart trophy, a Lady Byng and a Stanley Cup is definitely going in the right direction. Just going to put this here, top 3 favorite goal of mine.
