Sean Avery Lays Into “Greasy” Islanders Fans For Their Treatment of Tavares

Sean Avery stepped back into Semi-relevance today. He did so in his video in which he calls Islanders fans “greasy” and berates them for the way they treated former Captain Tavares has been making the round on social media. The former instigator, rock thrower, mother in-law suing, fashionista felt the it was high time the world heard his opinion on Tavares return to LI. He’s the guy you all hate to play against, but love to have on your team. That said, he’s got issues.

The video is here: NSFW and headphones needed if you are in public.

Sean has always been and will always be an outspoken individual that loves to stir the pot. Love him or hate him he says some interesting such sometimes. Taken with the grain of salt that it should be, this is not surprising coming from a dude that extended his career by stirring the pot every chance that he got when in the NHL. After all he was arrested in 2015 for throwing rocks at passing cars in Suffolk County, Long Island.

He is a BlueShirt through and through and probably wanted to post the video so that Tavares did not usurp his status as the most hated NHL or former NHL player on the Island.

Next time you visit the Island you might want to take an entourage Avery and what is up with the Dudley Do-Right hat?

Reason # 704 the Islanders – Rangers rivalry is the best. Sean Avery still gets pissed at the Islanders fans, for something a stunt that pales in comparison to the stuff that he pulled.

Yes! Yes! Yes! Keeping the drive for 5 alive from Seattle, but not without the occasional clean up. Been an Islander fan for much longer that I should have been. Seen the ups, the 4 cups and the downs. I guess you could say I am a masochist with a love for hockey and the Blue and Orange. Even when Seattle gets a team, I will always stay true to the Isles. I write about this sport we love and spend a ton of time with my 9 year-old daughter at the rink. I also direct a beginners hockey program. The best thing in the world is helping those kids reach their goals.
