If you listen to the podcast, you’d know by now that there is a HUGE bet going on between myself and Hal. Earlier in the year Hal and I got into one and made a bet involving the peoples goalie, Carter Hutton. Fast forward to March 18, Carter has 17 wins and looks to be the go to guy down the stretch as Linus Ulmark is off sucking farts. So I ask you, does Carter Hutton have it in him? Here is the Sabres schedule the rest of the way:
I’m not going to lie, I’m worried. If Hutton played all 10 I would bet the house on him but I just don’t know if thats going to happen. Two of the last 10 are against the Senators which SHOULD be 2 wins so it depends on who dumb Phil Housley between the pipes. The Sabres also have 2 games against Detroit and one against New Jersey so, again, it CAN be done. Will it though? Will the Sabres disappoint me like they have the last 28 years? Will Jack Eichel take the bull by the horns and get me some W’s? Right now, I’d say its a toss up. Only time will tell.
Nothing gives me confidence more than a picture of the goalie I want to win three more games making a routine save with his eyes closed.
Carter Hutton, the peoples goalie.
