Papa’s Picks Heading Into The Weekend

Here are my picks heading into the weekend. I have actually been pretty hot lately given I was traveling a bit. Also there hasn’t been a podcast the last two weeks because the child Chambsy has official checked out. He has the attention span of a squirrel so it’s me riding solo the rest of the way. This is a good thing though. I can just blog my picks and it’s easier than dealing with the child.

Friday SEND-IT

Only two games tonight…

Friday 7pm: Minnesota Wild at Washington Capitals – Wild ML

I think the desparate Wild catch the Caps off guard after their emotional game against Tampa.

Friday 10pm: San Jose Sharks at Anaheim Ducks – Sharks ML

Sharks end the skid on a back to back against one of the leagues worst teams.

Saturday’s Dog, Favorite, Over/Under

Saturday’s Dog: Tampa Bay Lightning at St. Louis Blues: St. Louis Blues ML

The Blues host the Lightning in the midst of a home stand. They are coming off two big wins and host the best team in the league. The Lightning travel in after a big time win against the Capitals. I think they have a hiccup here after such a big overtime win.

Saturday’s Favorite: Minnesota Wild at Carolina Hurricanes: Canes ML

The Minnesota Wild are on a back to back where they just played the Washington Capitals. They now come into an empty building and have to play one the leagues more physical teams that are desperate for points. Good luck with that!

Saturday’s Over: Detroit Red Wings at Vegas Golden Knights: Over 5.5

I have no idea why this is listed as 5.5. Grab it as soon as possible because I think this will move to 6. The Detroit Red Wings are 2-2 in overs in their last 4. Weird inconsistent team when it comes to O/U’s. But the Knights have been playing some solid hockey and scoring a ton. The over is 4-2 in the last 6. I think they beat up on the Wings 7-2.

Sunday’s Parlay

Not sure if this will hit. I have been pretty cold in terms of parlay’s. It’s always a sucker bet, but we are all suckers in the end…

Carolina Hurricanes, Washington Capitals, and New York Islanders

Good luck and let’s have a weekend!
