We had a big one this week as Darren McCarty came on and he did not disappoint. If your new to The Morning Skate world we started this a few years back when all of my best friends moved away. We’d all grab a 12er, go on Google Hangouts, drink some beers and talk / watch hockey. We ended up recording what we said one day, sent it to a few people and fast forward 4 years this is where we are. When we first started doing this never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be talking to Darren fucking McCarty. If you’re a hockey fan you know all about his fight with Claude Lemieux and know that the Detroit Red Wings were a dynasty. It was an honor to talk to the guy and we’re all collectively looking forward to what the future holds here at TMS.
