Good god all mighty Connor McDavid might just be the greatest offensive player of all time. Yes, I know Wayne Gretzky holds all of the records and that they will never be beat (or will they Ovechkin?). But you cannot possibly say that if McDavid played in the 70s or 80s that McDavid wouldn’t’t have 100000 points in one year. Connor McDavid is currently playing on a level above the NHL and if you really sit down and ask yourself, has this ever happened before, the answer might be no. Fitzy has been stirring debate for a while now about modern day NHLers but this tweet made me laugh out loud.
