Wow, just wow. Did you guys know Blackwood served a stint in Glens Falls NY with the Adirondack Thunder? Thats right. I’m going to be honest, players that play in the coast rarely make it to the show but Blackwood battled and is now the starting goalie for the Devils. You have to respect that type of hustle, so when I saw him lose a few teeth last night and stay in the game, I wasn’t surprised. This guy doesn’t let things break him down, even a slap shot to the face. Give the guy a water bottle, a few sips, and he’s ready to go. I know it’s played out when you compare hockey players toughness to other sports but they make it so easy. Losing a few teeth seems a bit more major then turf toe or a leg cramp, doesn’t it?
