Since New Years, the NHL has come out with some really cool articles highlighting the “best of” the decade. This week they released their pick for Goal of the Decade. It belongs to none other than, Patrick Kane. Kane has had a pretty awesome week after hitting the 1,000 point milestone and then now being honored by the NHL for scoring the goal of the decade.
The 2010 Stanley Cup Final game 6 against the Philadelphia Flyers. Overtime. Breaking an almost 50 year Stanley Cup drought for an Original 6 team. I remember exactly where I was sitting when I saw Kane seal the deal for the Hawks. It may not have been the prettiest goal, but it was one of the most meaningful shots I will ever see.
