I’m all for new things but maybe JUST MAYBE we should’ve used this during the year just to make sure everything is legit? Can you imagine a third period of a series clinching game and the puck goes on the fritz or splits in half? It’s happened before, with regular pucks!
Again, I’m all for having a puck to help track more data I just have no idea why they wouldn’t test this during the year. Apparently players will also have to wear certain tags and I’m good as long as that doesn’t effect their normal routines.
I love the whole, “It is, however, much more expensive” line. Weird flex but it sounds like if you get one of these bad boys you can flip it for some chaaaaange.
Will anything happen? Probably not but what if it does? Also, if it does— remember and credit this blog please and thank you.
