With the semi finals of ‘yoffs coming up and having a little cushion in the bank, I’ve decided it’s time for new sticks. Now, obviously, if I had fuck you money, I’d just buy 1,000 300 dollar sticks and be set for life. Unfortunately, that just ain’t happening. On top of this, buying an expensive stick, IMO, for beer league is so damn stupid. Yeah, its nice to wheel around a lighter stick, but they just don’t hold up anymore. Ever since retiring from real hockey and joining the beer league ranks, I’ve yet to purchase a top of the line stick because they’re too expensive and with the amount of abuse they take from the savages and neanderthals of the league, these two factors would leave me with a permanent anxiety attack.
I went to Twitter and found out that a ton of you are Sherwood fans and that’s something I can get behind. Do you think Bauer or CCM are sporting people with hand tattoos on the home page of their website? Doubt it. People forget that Sidney Crosby was sporting these bad boys when he first came into the league. People forget that’s the brand of choice for Kaapo Kakko. People forget that history means a lot to me, just ask the 1776 tattoo. I don’t know if they’ll be any good, I don’t know if I’ll like them- I’m aware there are more questions than there are answers but maybe that’s what I need in my life right now. I’ll keep you guys updated on the Sherwood saga. Beer League man, I love this shit.
