Sidney Crosby’s Backhand is Not Fair

Sidney Crosby is FEELING it right now. Check out these plays in back to back games.

It’s not really a secret but I think it needs to be said louder.

In the first video, after undressing Strome (second time this year, should probably reconsider playing D), Sidney uses patience and is able to elevate the puck in a tight space past Talbot. It’s not flashy because we don’t see it go bar down, but nonetheless very, very impressive.

The shot in the second video makes me hot and bothered. Zero angle, full speed, guy on you, IT DOES NOT MATTER. The amount of room 87 had to work with there is about the amount of room you have when trying to wheel a 10 when you’re a soft body 5. This is what separates Sid from practically anyone else in the league. 95% of other players would’ve just kept skating behind the net, probably turn the puck over, and get off the ice before they go dash 1. Not Sid. Sid sees the little bit of room and strikes while the iron is hot.

This guy is so good it’s scary.
