If you enjoy the sport of hockey there is a decent chance that you’ve seen the movie Miracle no less than 30 times. You also probably have the ability to recite half of the script, whether it be “You boys keep eatin’ em and I’ll keep makin’ em” or “Isn’t it obvious? For the girls.” The Miracle on Ice is exactly what it says it was – a miracle. College kids were able to form a bond and take down a Soviet Empire who we’re practically unbeatable. This was more than just a game, this impacted the entire world. The political climate back then wasn’t exactly peachy, and even though it was a game it stood for a whole lot more.

A little over a month ago, we were contacted by Saratoga Living to see if we wanted to help out with a 40th anniversary of the 1980 miracle on ice party and I bet you all can guess what we said to that.

So we dove in and got to work. We reached out to the people in our hockey community, the Adirondack Thunder and even got Austin and Jonah on the podcast to talk about this shaker that will be thrown in Saratoga.

Here are the details you need to know if you’re interested in attending the event.
