Apparently, Mike Hoffmans Girlfriend Has Been Harrassing the Karlssons After The Death of Their Son

Per the Ottawa Citizen:

Melinda Karlsson has filed an order of protection against the longtime girlfriend of Senators forward Mike Hoffman — alleging a campaign of harassment that plagued the Karlssons after the death of their son and through much of the last NHL season, this newspaper has learned.

“Monika Caryk has uttered numerous statements wishing my unborn child dead,” says Melinda Karlsson’s sworn statement to the court.

“She also uttered that she wished I was dead and that someone should ‘take out’ my husband’s legs to ‘end his career.’

“Monika Caryk has posted over 1,000 negative and derogatory statements about me as a professional.”

Reached on Tuesday afternoon, Hoffman said, “There’s nothing really for me to say, at this time. That’s all I can say.”

Rut roh Shaggy. It all starts to make sense. Why have Erik Karlsson and Mike Hoffmans names been brought up in trade rumors the last few years? This very well could have something to do with it.

If you read this whole article, it paints of picture of Mike Hoffmans girlfriend, Monika Caryk, harrassing the Karlssons on social media after the loss of their son. If all of this is true, you have to deal Hoffman, maybe even to a rival. There is nothing worse than a crazy ass loved one so why not put that loved one right smack in the middle of Toronto. It’s kind of like that Trojan horse but instead of having soldiers inside you have

In all seriousness, this is fucking wild and crazy and we wouldn’t wish this on anyone. Fingers crossed none of this is true. However, if it is, be prepared for one HELL of an active offseason.
